You're NOT a fan if you...

-Insult people who disagree with you

-Harass and belittle creators who make projects inferior in your eyes.
-Demand said creators to stop creating said projects, or otherwise kill themselves.
-Start a riot over something insignificant related to you admiration.
-Make false claims about the business behind your admiration.
-End personal relationships over a petty disagreement with your admiration.
-Harassing creators on social media or IRL.
-Shaming fans within the community of your admiration for making fanart or fanfiction.
-Threating to hurt/kill yourself or others because your admiration let you down or you had a heated argument.

If you do any of the above, you’re not a real fan. If you say you are yet you do at least 1 of these things, you’re a liar and a hypocrite who should be ashamed of yourself. True fans respect each others opinions and support creators as well as people in the community. The people who act like zealots in restaurants or harass fanartists on Tumblr are not fans, they never were fans and they never will be fans.
